The story of DNB Electric begins with two high school students who shared a mutual vision of entrepreneurship and building a company while building the careers of those who worked with them. As their education and career paths continued to align, Neill Bustle and Sonny Carter found themselves not only employed by a well-known midlands area commercial electrical company but managing projects together at that company as well. Their scope of work together included office building renovations, corporate training centers, hotels, apartment buildings, retail facilities, private college campuses, restaurants and medical office buildings. From pre-construction through final inspection and project closeout, Neill and Sonny brought their unique talents to each successful completion.

But the entrepreneurial fire in both men continued to burn. It wasn’t long before they were discussing what a future business together would look like. It didn’t take long to agree on the essentials.
